Nago (名護市, Nago-shi, Okinawan: ナグ Nagu, Kunigami: ナグー Naguu) is a city located in the northern part of Okinawa Island, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. As of December 2012, the city has an estimated population of 61,659 and a population density of 293 persons per km2. Its total area is 210.30 km2.

From Naha bus terminal (across the street from Asahibashi monorail station) you can take the Expressway Route bus No. 111. The trip will take about 2 hours and will cost ¥2,040. There will be many stops along the expressway on route. The No. 111 runs all the way from the Naha airport as well and costs ¥2,160.
With history dating back to the 14th century, Nago had a monorail built when it hosted Expo '75. It is now a major tourism destination for Japanese and foreigners alike.
